Our skilled technicians completed a full offsite refurbishment of all 222 original including a full upgrade of all glazing to 16mm double glazing and full Qualisteelcoat powder coating as per any new W20 windows we provide. This process yielded an overall U Value rating of 1.8W/m2K and a 12-25 year service life guarantee.

Victoria Law Courts (VLC)

Located on Corporation St in central Birmingham the Grade I listed building Victoria Law Courts sits as one of the cities most prestigious and recognisable buildings.
Our skilled teams completed a comprehensive overall of over 1500 windows across 2 complete phases to Steelhouse Lane, Newton Street and internal courtyards.
These works involved a full offsite refurbishment of multiple historic systems including; Black iron windows, 1930’s Steel Windows, Timber Sash Windows.
WRCO also completed a full overhaul of the leaded glazing present to the frames, fully restored the sensitive terracotta surrounds and doff cleaned both full elevations.
India Buildings (IDB)

Located on Water St, Liverpool this Grade II* former shipping office now HMRC location is one of the cities most iconic Art Deco buildings.
Our teams completed a comprehensive on site overall of over 180 steel and cast iron windows across all elevations to the basements, floors 5, 6 & 8.
These works involved fully stripping all lead based paints to the windows both internally and externally ensuring full compliance with all CLAW 2002 regulations, conducting ironmongery and glazing restorations
WRCO also installed the Henry Hope’s ironmongery to the newly installed MW40 Clement Windows.
These repair works yielded a 8 year finish guarantee.
Victoria Centre, Nottingham (VCN)

Sitting in the heart of Nottingham City Centre, Victoria Centre stands as a retail hub for the city on the site of a historic train station. A prime example of brutalist architecture, the surrounding skyline is dominated by multiple adjoining apartment complexes.
Window Repair Company conducted a full restoration to the dilapidated UPVC windows ensuring all windows were fully operable and safe to use for future generations including upgrading hinges to full high strength friction hinges.
This project involved 34 WRCO personnel across 7 teams we exceeded the clients timeline and delivered a 2 year project in just 24 weeks.
Aston Webb Building, University of Birmingham (UoB)

Located within the Aston University Campus of Birmingham University, The Aston Webb Building is one of the Universities last standing original buildings taking its name from its original designer Aston Webb & Ingress Bell. Featuring Accrington red brick and its saucer domes, the building is a real stand out piece of architectural heritage that is still as impressive today as it was back when it was first constructed in 1909.
We conducted a full and comprehensive on site restoration of the existing cast iron leaded windows ensuring a fully sympathetic approach was maintained inline with the local authorities guidance ensuring that these windows will stand the test of time for the next century and beyond.

We conducted a full onsite restoration to all upper floor bronze, steel and timber sliding sash windows. This included, full repair and paint restoration, glazing repairs and ironmongery restoration.

Hilda Besse Building, Oxford University (HDB)

Located in the heart of St Anthony’s College Campus, Oxford University, Hilda Besse is a prime example of post-war Brutalist architecture.
Our extensive refurbishment of the original aluminium horizontal sliding sashes and subframes involved a full off site factory repair which saw us stripping, welding, and fixing every moving component with the windows.
We installed new high security glazing to the existing sashes by manufacturing a bespoke wrap around EPDM dry glaze gasket and manufacturing new bespoke heavy duty rollers. We also fully powder coated all framework and mouldings to a Qualicoat standard and onsite sprayed all fixed lights.
Our repairs ensured that the ethos set out by our client ensuring that these windows were not just repaired but refurbished to a specification and standard that exceeded the original design intent.
