The former Co-op building is a Grade II* listed building located in the heart of central Newcastle. The stunning art deco architecture and dual clock towers on the the front facade dominate the surrounding skyline. The building was built in the 1930's and replaced a former structure on the same site. The building now stands as one of Newcastle's most renowned buildings and as a 184 bed Premier inn and department store.
We began works on the windows 2014 and completed in 2015. We completed an extensive repair to both steel and timber window types. This involved a partial replacement of the frames and a full restoration of all window furniture ensuring all of the windows were in full working order.
